Spring 2022 Registration Now Open!

Boys Instructions: ALL boys must first register with www.mbyll.org PRIOR to registering with Milford Youth Lacrosse. MBYLL Registration is $40 which includes the required insurance and league fees. Upon completing MBYLL registration, you will receive an MBYLL "Confirmation Code" which is needed to continue Milford Youth Lacrosse Registration. Save that code and enter it during Milford Youth Lacrosse registration when prompted. Please use the same e-mail address for both registrations (MBYLL & Milford Youth Lacrosse).

Girls Instructions: Girls must first register with this link PRIOR to registering with Milford Youth Lacrosse. Founders GirlsLacrosse Registration is $30 which includes the required insurance and league fees. It is HIGHLY recommended that you open Founders Girls Lacrosse registration in a new tab or window so you do not lose your place while registering with Milford Youth Lacrosse

Please use the same e-mail address for both registrations (FGLL & Milford Youth Lacrosse).

If you have any difficulty and cannot complete your enrollment please reach out to Amanda Lind at  .

NEW SHOULDER PAD REQUIREMENT FOR 2022

A new safety rule begins Jan 1, 2022 with a requirement that all SHOULDER PADS meet a new NOCSAE ND200 requirement. Product compliance with ND200 reduces impact forces and thus the risk of commotio cordi (cardiac arrest due to a blow to the heart area).

This rule standard was put into place on Jan 1, 2021 for GOALIE CHEST PROTECTORS.

All goalie chest protectors AND shoulder pads on our Lax.com discount page meet this new standard. CLICK HERE to look for shoulder pads and chest protectors.

CLICK HERE to read up more on the NOCSAE ND200 standard.

What does registration pay for?
We often get some questions on what exactly the registration fees cover, so we thought we'd share those details with everyone.

Q: What does registration pay for?
A: Registration fees cover:
  • Affiliation dues (MBYLL, FGLL Town Fees and Insurance)
  • Referees
  • Game / practice equipment (goals, balls, goalie equipment, long shafts for u13 boys, first aid kits, coaches equipment, line painting supplies)
  • Lacrosse Balls - one of our largest expenses each year.
  • Coaches certification and continuing education programs
  • Indoor practice time and skills sessions
  • Field time (parks & recreation department fee and turf rental fields)
  • Jamboree fees
  • Scholarships
  • Fiscally prudent reserves
All of the above is primarily funded by your child’s registration fee.  Our annual fundraiser, business sponsorships help to supplement registration fees, but the majority of the funds come from registration.  Some of the above costs go up every year, but MYL works to stabilize costs over time.  Overwhelmingly our success is driven by the level and commitment of parent volunteers. If you like your experience consider some small volunteer opportunities. Every bit helps.
